Re: Duet Wifi web console issues
redid the firmware. Issue still persists. Posted on the duet forum and no real progress made there. The forum did mention that there is new firmware for the board out, maybe a week old. But SeeMeCNC hasn’t updated their end yet I got nothing at this point. My octoprint setup never had an issue so it’ ...

Duet Wifi web console issues
I just finished upgrading my V3 to a V3.2 and I am getting connection issues to the web console after leaving it for 10 minutes or so. I cannot reconnect with any browser on my laptop or iphone. Error message below. Communication Error A communication error was reported, so the current session has ...

Re: Print quality troubleshooting.
well I have no idea how to fix it.
I tried yet another 20mm cube in vase mode with no top or bottom and my extrusion width is set to .5 with a .5 nozzle and my calipers are reading .63-.65

Re: Print quality troubleshooting.
I'm thinking mine is extrusion multiplier. I adjusted my coast settings and saw a big improvement but I think once I nail the extrusion multiplier it should be good.
I'm using S3D primarily, I paid for it so I am sticking with it

Re: PEI disaster
I just failed installing the adhesive sheet wet. Guess I'll order another round sheet and try it dry. If it doesn't work then I'll wait a few weeks and order a round PEI sheet with adhesive on it.

The brackets that get screwed in need to have the top brackets modified so the skates will Home. Dremel to the rescue.

Re: Rostock Max v3 enclosure
PLA. I did calibrate my printer with the 20mm cube and it came out "good enough government work". I scaled the part up by 5.83mm /2.3% I think and it fits a lot better now. I might bump it up to 2.6% and see if it tightens up the gap a bit more. I now have a 1/32" gap on either side of the flat ...

Re: Rostock Max v3 enclosure
So I printed it and mounted the brackets that go around the vertical extrusions. The center brackets between the two does not fit. It's too short by maybe 1/8" or a hair more.

Printed everything off and the heat set inserts work perfectly. I'll get some photos of the brackets installed. I haven't gotten acrylic yet and figured out how to make the door yet.

Re: Rostock Max v3 enclosure
I'm printing these off now and ordered heat set inserts. The enclosure pieces for the top portion of the enclosure still causes issues with the skates. I might adjust my end stop screws and re calibrate my printer since I see no way around that issue.

Re: Transported RSV3 and now 1st layer issues
new psu solved it. support shipped me a replacement that ill keep on the shelf if my meanwell version dies.
I generally don't mess with capacitors unless they have been discharged. the bad PSU will be recycled or put in the junk electronics pile at my makerspace for someone to repair and use

Re: Transported RSV3 and now 1st layer issues
Checked the PSU output and it's 1.6 volts. Opened the PSU after removing it and one of the large capacitors blew. I have a new MeanWell brand PSU coming today to replace this. The cap must have been failing when I started the last print because I smelled a burnt ramen smell and wasn't sure if it was ...

Re: Transported RSV3 and now 1st layer issues
I redid the cable whip sort of. I removed the Bowden tube and disconnected it from the hot end and untwisted the Bowden tube since it was causing issues catching on the x tower skate. Put it all back together and did a 1 layer test print which was successful. I was successful at running the delta ...

Re: Transported RSV3 and now 1st layer issues
I'm attempting to do the delta calibration wizard and I cannot complete it. On the move from the 5th bed probe to the 6th, between x and z towers, the hot end assembly Seems to get jammed. The arms look like they are pushing the head out too far beyond their reach causing it to crash? Every time I ...

Re: Transported RSV3 and now 1st layer issues
Forgot to mention it's hatchbox white ABS
I did change the extrusion multiplier to 1 and saw an immediate improvement in layer extrusion but I now think my HE temp may be too high for this filament since it's at 235 which is 5 degrees less than suggested max for this filament.

Transported RSV3 and now 1st layer issues
I had my printer happily printing PLA so I thought I'd let my makerspace use if for a class yesterday. I carefully strapped it down to my back seat on its side with the carriage inverted and skates held in place with rubber bands. It printed perfectly for the class with PLA and I brought it home and ...

Re: My super fun time build!
And that requires additional steps. I'll just upload to imgur from now on Printing a benchy right now. First layers go on translucent and it caused the print head to scrape away the letters on the first layer. Also have some fine spider webbing and some oozing. When it's done I'll attempt photos I'm ...

Re: My super fun time build!
Just printed a calibration cube in black PLA. Came out rather nice. I think I need to look into first layer heigh or something because the first three or four layers aren't as nice as the rest. I need to figure out matter control and how to print off of an SD card. I had my laptop connected via USB ...
