Re: Wipe for a Rostock Max?
In kissslicer if you enable the prime pillar it creates one for each extruder. Not perfect but could help.

cleaning up the seam
So i have been getting pretty good prints out of my machine, but now that I am getting them nice and clean the seam has become very noticeable. I am using 7mm retraction, 2mm wipe, .1 seam hiding, and 20 degree jitter. On larger prints like the one pictured it is purely aesthetic, but on some ...

Re: From clean to blobbing stringy mess
So after some time replacing parts of the hotend, which helped but didn't solve the issue, I went through the whole calibration process again (3rd time). I had calibrated my EZstruder to 92.67 originally but after going through calibration again I ended up with 86.34. I don't know why the relatively ...

From clean to blobbing stringy mess
So I get everything calibrated and had a few good prints out of my Max when I decided to try and print a large part (the reason I got the machine) It was an eight hour print so I kept an eye on it for an hour or so before going to bed. A few hours later my wife gets up for work and takes a peak at ...

Re: SD card not being seen
thanks guys. I haven't had a chance to get to the machine to confirm, but it seems to me that the cable will be the solution since it is a known problem.
Good to know about the caps on the Mac.
thanks

Re: SD card not being seen
1. I need to double check this but I am using the longer cables that were included in the lcd kit so I assumed they were sized appropriately 2. I thought this only applied to the file names, does it apply to drive names as well? Mine is named GCODE shouldn't that be fine? 3. tried other cards, no ...

SD card not being seen
The 4gig SD card that came with my lcd screen is not being seen by the screen. I have confirmed it is formatted with FAT and have spent the last 2 hours rummaging around the internet for help on this, but all the discussions revolve around Marlin. I have tried to confirm the settings in repetier ...

92.67 for me. The ez extruder is definitely living up to it's name, prints have been much better since the upgrade

Re: hot end clog?
I have been doing things in eeprom, but is the filament size adjustable there? I haven't seen it, is it adjustable in the firmware with arduino? I have it set to 1.75 in slic3r but that is the only place I have seen it as an option.

Re: hot end clog?
yeah setting are all as you mentioned (steps per mm and filament size). So I a m a bit perplexed as to why it is doing this. It is strange sometimes I touch the filament going into the extruder to make sure it is actually moving, and it is, but next to nothing is coming out of the hot end. Maybe my ...

hot end clog?
Hello, I just finished my rostock max using al the stock parts. Old extruder and steve's hot end. the extruder seems to be calibrated correctly and everything seems to work until it is time to actually extrude something through the hotend. With the head in the air I tell it to extrude 15mm and the ...
