Since I got my secondhand Rostock Max V2, I have been struggling with it.
I:
- upgraded to A E3D v6
- did endless calibrations manually
- upgraded the Viotek PSU to a 24V PSU with SSR and 12V stepdown
- did some mods on the base panels to accomodate fans, switches and fuses
- exchanged the Rambo for a Duet 0.6 that I got for a reasonable price
- installed the injection-molded skates and armes that I got for my birthday
- did endstop calibration manually only and let Duet figure out the rest

Near future plans are the Effector with integrated airflow that you see being printed in the short film. And of course the heat chamber that was initialy my first mod, but never got around to due to more urgent matters.

I have not been printing this many on a few hours time for over a year. It was quite an adventure. The printer was not in a bad shape when I got it, but somehow I kept falling into loopholes. I did not want to give up because the sound of the machine is so mesmerizing. I learned a lot and I have you all to thank for that!
I hope all goes a bit better now, but will undoubtedly think up many more questions, but I reached the state in which I will probably be able to help a few others too. So, I'll stick around!
