Heatbed Trouble

Post by hunt529 »

Model: Rostock Max v3
Firmware: 0.92.2
FW Date: 20170103

This is a brand new build purchased in Dec 2016.

I could definitely use some trouble shooting help to get my heat bed functioning properly.

Symptom = heat bed ignores target temp value and stays steady at about 40 C. regardless of target temp.

I've tested power and am getting 11.1 DC volts

Led is working as expected.

I was hoping I could get some step by step guidance on trouble shooting this?

Is the small red switch on the power supply set to the correct setting?

Your power supply needs to be kicking out more juice. Keep the tester on it and adjust the potentiothingamabobby on the power supply until you are in the mid to high 12's. at least that worked for me when I had a similar issue
