Worn bearing sleaves backlash?

Hi everyone,

The struggle is real with my preowned romax v2. I have slowly been upgrading, fixing, and calibrating. I have everything dialed in but keep having an issue with a high point between the x and y tower as well as filament not going to the edges in and around the same spots.

I noticed the blue bearing covers on the x tower are peeling and there is a clicking sound sometimes coming from the skate. I bought new covers and am preparing to take the skates apart.

My question is how tight should the belts be tensioned when I reassemble and could this be my problem and has it happened to anyone else.
