Obstruction in Max V3 Extruder

Post by ivanhandler »

I have a jam that is unexpected (aren't they all?). The extruder (not the HE280) has some junk in it just below where the gear engages the filament. I was able to use a straightened paper clip to clear it, but it didn't last too long. After I cleared it the first time (big hassle) I was able to start to print again, but the extrusion was inconsistent and it eventually stopped extruding (the blue wheel was turning but no filament was going through). Now I can't get filament to get to the bowden tube. Any ideas on how to clear the passage? Thanks

Pull the bowden out of the push fit connector and make sure there's nothing jammed there. Might want to take the fitting off as well to make sure there's nothing in there causing issues.
