EZ Struder Upgrade - Need help testing and refining.

Printed this 3x, I think it's pretty close to the size...maybr off .3mm? Either way the lever doesn't seem to push strongly enough against the filament. I may have to shave it down as well like the above user said.

I printed it it worked great until my extruder gear got ate up, (not because of this but because of use) . I want to try out the E3d hobb-gobblin but Its a little smaller is there anyone who has tried it with that gear?
