Eris auto calibrate issue

Post by Laddyfam »

We have an Eris, and we are using Matter Control. When attempting to auto calibrate, the nozzle goes all the way onto the bed, starts vibrating, slides to the side and does not lift back up. :? We have tried a power cycle, and disconnecting and reconnecting the printer from Matter Control, to no avail. We have to shut the power off to the printer to get it to stop the vibrating on the bed surface. We would greatly appreciate any advice. :) Thanks for reading.

Mine did that also. I figured it had to do with an extreme difference in endstop offsets of the three towers. At the moment I forget what I did to get them closer to one another,,,,, But the endstops are the little plastic clips on the belt that activate a microswitch in the base. I was pretty frustrated and didn't update the thread I started in the Eris forum.
