bowden extruder, thats what it does during layer changes, haven' been able to figure out how to tune that out yet.

You might try changing your slicer settings to do a random starting point. I had that same issue but it was much better when I changed it. I took it off to test it again, and I'm seeing the issue again.

I was just saying it seems to help my prints when I have that option checked.

It's got to be more than the random start option. I've got that checked, my part is perfect except for this issue. It always screws it up going up on the Z axis. I'd love to know how to fix it.

kisslicer has a seam setting that ranges from 0-1, i think this is what i need to adjust to minimize that seam. currently it was set to 1, i'm going to try 0 and see what happens.
