Flat first layer, after calibration

Post by Finchnixer »

Hi!

I have done a few searches in the forums, but can't seem to find a solution for this. Most likely because I don't know yet what to search for :-)
I have run the delta calibration wizard, adjusted the eprom parameters and fiddled with the obvious things, yet my first layer is always squished flat, and depending on print speed I get extruder-skipping due to this. Can anyone point me in the next direction? Should I fiddle with the z-probe distance manually?

Halp! :-)

Try decreasing the Max Z figure in the EEPROM by 0.1mm.

Thanks, I tried, and it still goes too close, so weird. I worked around the problem yesterday by manually jogging the z +0.2 in S3D while printing the brim, but that's just kinda ridiculous. I'll play around with the z-probe distance and z-max and see what I can manage, thanks! :)
