Extrusion issues
Extrusion issues
Got new filament from rainbot3d, had good luck with them so far but New color and new issues, I got a transparent blue and It extrudes very little, even after cleaning the nozzle and replacing the ptfe tube

Re: Extrusion issues
Different plastics will extrude well at different temps. I have had 2 spools of PLA from the same manufacturer require different temps. I assume the different colors were different batches.tom10122 wrote:Got new filament from rainbot3d, had good luck with them so far but New color and new issues, I got a transparent blue and It extrudes very little, even after cleaning the nozzle and replacing the ptfe tube

I love that transparent blue in the sunlight however. It's almost like it colorchanges and glows in the sun. Nice stuff.

Re: Extrusion issues
I've had PLA that requires anything from 165 to 230 degrees to extrude, with massive temperature variation even from the same supplier. Colors makes a difference, as does the type of plastic, 4043D isn't 4042D etc.
