I have been using my Rostock Max v3 for almost three months will no major issues. Last night I noticed that the display now showed two line of white squares. Up to this point the display was working fine. The printer still functions fine and I am able to do prints. I checked the wiring as best I could without taking the printer apart. As a possible fix I cleared the eprom and uploaded the latest firmware. None of this has corrected the problem. Before I go take the printer apart I was hoping that someone might have a solution.
Went through all the connections and reseated everything. The display is now working.

Re: Display with white squares
I'm having a similar problem, but resetting all of the connectors, powering off, and disconnecting USB didn't help. I can still print, but the display is not working.
Re: Display with white squares
It's possible that the display has simply failed.
