I was looking at github this morning and noticed that there have been a few updates in;
SD card files for hotend probe/sys and in;
SD card files for hotend probe/www
A bit of a struggle (for ME) to figure which "matter" and which don't.
Looking for guidance and suggesting that some sort of organized "recommended updates" scheme might be a good thing to put in place.
When (& how) to update firmware.

A good rule of thumb is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Myself, in the beginning, I would update, just to update. Now? Only if I'm trying to solve a problem.

Keep in mind that those aren't firmware updates - they're configuration file updates. You can take a look at the "diff" for the changed files in order to see what they changed and then decide if you want those changes.

Agreed, they are configs.
Diffs are OK, if only there where WHYs <grin>

If you want to know the why of a change, email support. I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you.
