Gcode to extrude 100 mm of filament

Post by taggedzi »

My printer is no where close to a computer and I'm REALLY hoping to not have to move it... again. Is there a gcode file I can generate to get it to extrude 100 mm of filament for calibration? I tried a few I found on line and looking around, but so far whenever I try it does nothing. I have disconnected the bowden tube and heated up the hot end to 180, but still no dice. I figure this should be simple I just don't seem to know.

The printer is working (except not well calibrated). It has been out of use for about 3 months and moved a good bit. I wanted to re-calibrate and start printing again.

Thanks in advance.

Any software such as matter control connected to the printer should be able to extrude the 100mm. I use octoprint and I have to heat up to 200 in order to start extruding and octoprint has an option to just extrude if wanted.
