Mattercontrol version 2 - can't generate supports

Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I cannot get the new software to generate supports. I have them specified in the "slice" section, 50%, tried lines, grid etc. but they just dont get generated when I slice the part. Any advice? (really like the new software but it's so different maybe I'm missing something obvious)

I can't help you with MatterControl, but in 2019 it is a slicer that is far from being ... good, to keep it simple. In my own opinion you should take a serious look to other alternative like Cura or KISSlicer, even Simplify3D (if you can afford it).

Thanks! I'm going to make the switch, maybe even pay the big bucks for Simplify3D. Sure looks good.

I would like to tell you that Simplify3D gonna released a paid V5. So You should wait for it if you go in that direction. In the meantime, look at the other free options you will be able to make your own opinion without regretting anything.
