Rostock v2 with probe keeps rebooting fw.92.2
A couple of days ago I bought a HOTEND ACCELEROMETER PROBE PCB BOARD REV 6A for my rostock v2, I made the replacement, with the firmware version 0.92.2 is showing some blue leds and when I turn the temperature on, it turns red, which I believe is okay, however if I go to the firmware and modify the settings to indicate I have the probe with rostock v2 it just keeps rebooting, specifying again the old hotend in the firmware it works again, my question is, how is the probe suppose to be configured and how can I invoke the auto level method?

Does the board reboot continuously if the HE280 connector is disconnected? Also, did you use Arduino 1.6.0 to compile the firmware? If not, you need to. That's the only version that can generate a working firmware image.

Thanx for the reply, okay, rewired everything and it doesnt reboot anymore, starts normally, now, and in the terminal I see this:
If i execute the m261 command it still doesnt show any info from the accelerometer, should I need a ferrite core?
@geneb, I used 1.8.3, do I need to downgrade? (i will try in a couple of minutes)

I compiled against 1.6.0 and still the same accelerometer comm error

So what did you change in your wiring? I don't have an I2C device, but it may be that you fried your transceiver.

same wiring, only difference was that I used other pair of cables

so maybe the accelerometer is damaged?

Chances are pretty high that it's a wiring error that's preventing communication with the HE280. Make sure that the connector is fully seated in the HE280 and that the pins are fully seated in the shell.

looks like everything is well connected, tested with the multimeter with the machine off, of course, there is connection between the pins

Don't check wires with them connected on either end. You can get false readings. If you still have problems, you might want to contact support.
