Hey Fellas,

Not sure if anyone comes back here these days, but hey I'm slow, nothing I can do about it.

I'm rebooting the Rostock Max v2. I want to use the mini Trick Truck carriages (Trick Laser) with the 291.08mm rods and the ball bearing end effector.

Does anyone know what the Carriage Horizontal Offset and the Rod Radius, etc. would be?

Sure as hell would appreciate any data.......

As far as I know, those parameters should be the same for the TrickTrucks.

Facebook has pretty much sucked all the air out of the room. Eventually people will realize the astronomically poor idea this was and will return here. We'll be waiting.

Thank you for the input. I tried using the original settings but the movement is still off. The first few layers are decent but then as the layers increase past 3 or 4 the nozzle begins digging into the print. I've never seen this before.

I am going to try to tighten the pulleys when I have a chance and maybe that will work.

I am also going to try adjusting the eccentric spacer to get the carriage movement to match.

Other than that I am all out of ideas.

As far as Facebook is concerned I agree, people are eventually going to get bored with it...I sure as hell got sick of it.

You could always contact the TrickLaser guys and get the numbers from them - if nothing else it would allow you to compare what you've got.
I'd also check to make sure that your steps/mm are set correctly (80 for 1.8 degree steppers) and that the drive gears on the axis motors aren't slipping or binding.
