I keep calibrating and recalibrating my rostock max. It seems like it keep falling out of calibration after 1 or 2 prints. It looks like it goes out by maybe.5 mm roughly.
I did not have this problem before, but I have been trying to tweak the print_radius setting... and I have a new piece of glass. It is walmart frame glass, but it is the third one I have used. The only problem is that it shatters after a while. That is the only difference I can think of. I am wondering if a part is about to fail.
I have a rostockMax purchased earlier this year. It has the rambo board with repetier firmware. I made the change from marlin successfully so I do not think it is that. I just replaced a belt I which I destroyed, but again I have had good prints since then.
I cannot think of any more relevant details.
Any one ever see this happen?
Thanks,
Jason

Re: Printer keeps un-calibrating
I'd check the belts about 1/3 of the way up on the inside when homed.
Can also be a loose retaining screw on one of the pulleys.

That all makes sense. I will check. Is it also possible that belt tension or a loose pully could have this symptom?
Thanks,

Re: Printer keeps un-calibrating
One of my motors had a loose set screw on the gear/pulley thing. I tightened it and now that issue is gone. Thanks for the help.
