I want to make a hot bed for the seeme

Post by timothysvec »

I'm Hoping for an a to z tutorial on how to make a hot bed for the seeme. With pictures and where to buy the part's. I wish that seeme had something to offer on their site. They are offering a machine but no hot bed. This is an important component for printing in pvc. I have seen the mod's that use the prusa bed......... But hey, I could have bought a prusa. I like the American made part of the seeme. Hope you guy's can help me.

I plan on finishing my custom nichrome wire bed and write up this week. Its the second version, the original was based on acrylic bed, the new one is 1/8" aluminium.
Stay tuned!

Take a look at my build thread Timothy. I am in the process of writing up the parts list and assembly instructions for my nichrome heated hot bed. I'll probably offer parts kits too since it is difficult to get the parts you need in small quantities and also you have to pay shipping from multiple sources.

Cheers,
Michael
