Suggested best built plate material?

Hey folks I'm having to change my polycarbonate build plate again as it warps badly in random spots.

What are you guys using that is more permanent and won't warp?
I'm still using the square heated bed.

Glass it the common build platform, it's flat.
On the smaller beds plain window glass from a local hardware store is fine, in the onyx, the surface is large enough that some people have issues with window glass beaking.
If you're printing ABS, you'll need to either cover the glass is Kapton or PET tape, or use ABS Juice or Hairspray as a print surface, with bed temperatures in the 80-110C range.
If you're printing PLA, you can print directly on the glass but it's finicky and either Blue Painters tape, or PVA glue work well with bed temperatures in the Room Temperature to 70C range.

Glass was my first choice I already bought some Kapton tape so that's perfect.

I have been very happy printing on glass with hairspray on my Onyx. I like glass because you can remove parts with a razor blade without hurting the build plate. You can buy a piece of window glass at the store for less than $5 and cut it to size very easily (especially a rectangle like you need). Cutting a glass circle isn't that bad either ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... T_sb-tPdx4 ). I made my own circle cutter out of a plastic ruler and a suction cup.

Recently I saw one of the seemecnc guys using glue-stick on his glass build plate, but I don't know what material he was printing and I haven't tried it for myself yet...

Oh nice contraption! I'll keep that in mind when I upgrade the bed.

I tried Elmers glue stick but didn't seem to do very much.
I tried ABS Juice and have been using Hairspray and painters tape but painters tape always starts coming off on long prints.

So I just cut a thick mirror I had lying around and voila works like a charm using ABS juice for now!
I had to readjust the #define PRINTER_RADIUS now it's moving across flat!

Highly recommend anyone using a plastic build plate like I was to use Glass, the warping of plastic was a constant hassle of recalibrating.
