Go to this link: http://www.geneb.org/rostock-max/Rostoc ... -Guide.pdf
geneb does a great job with assembly of this printer.

There are three leads, it's the outer two.

Yes! Each time G28 is issued, each of the arms raise up to trigger the switch. This is the absolute measurement on each axis to the bed. The RAMBO firmware stores that and uses that as the base for arm movement.

BTW, they are not polar - so just wire them. The switch is only closing a circuit.

Remember guys, Spart is building a cartesian printer, not a rostock delta. Endstop wiring may be different from geneb's manual.

Our rostock endstops are certainly not near the print bed like yours spart.

How would a simple switch that closes kill anything?

It can if youre relying on it to stop the head from crashing through the glass bed.
I'm just saying that spart might want to consult other sources too for endstop wiring help. I know seemecnc also has the H1 cartesians but the forums is starting to get rostock-heavy.

And our rostock switches are wired NC, normally closed
So hitting the switches will actually open the circuit.

i got it all done, if it don't work back to the drawing board lol, going to do some more looking around saw a couple guys on you tube wiring it the same way, but for as in close to the glass i will set it up high till i see what it dose for stopping space set it from there i set it up on a adjustable stick idea so got room to move. this is more like a mandle printer i think that's the model so many out there will run into something
