Does anyone know where I might be able to find the design for this?

I was thinking about alternatives to the belted version. Has anyone seen this type of arm system in open-source?

If you take the delta arms and mount them to a plate and then move Z down like a cartesian (with a screw system), you have a Rostock with a screw system.

Questions:

Is this crazy? (Ok, it probably is.)
What advantages would it have? Remove belts from the equation, leveling better(?)
