I bought the Rostock 3D printer plus an extra Rostock MAX ADD-A-STRUDER KIT after seeing it in Maker Faire in San Francisco. I spent almost two months figuring out why the printer was not leveling, I even re-assembled it and make sure all parts are properly installed correctly like the extrusions.
No matter what I do, I couldn't level the bed and always getting an off area of the bed pretty bad. Then, I decided to change the arm with http://tricklaser.com/Carbon-Fiber-Tube ... M-CFTX.htm. After replacing it, I was getting a better result compare to the original arm.
With regards to the extra hotend that I bought, I was planning to configure the printer with dual extruder, but I found out the two extruder are not both equal in terms of length (off by .10mm in length).
I am frustrated because, I spent time and resources that I thought your stuff are good. But, it looks like you were selling your products without checking the accuracy of it.

Re: Frustrated Customer
Have you contacted SeeMeCNC directly? They've never hesitated to replace parts that were off or defective. I would strongly recommend it.

The design is being iterated - rapidly. Not sure if they changed them or if one slipped by. Contact them!
As for this forum, it is almost entirely community-driven. We're empathetic about your issues and if / when you post them, people typically reply very quickly w/rt your issues. While everyone needs to vent from time to time, you'll get your issue solved directly with SeeMeCNC instead of here.
Did everything else work out for you? When you get your Dual Head working, I'll be extremely interested in seeing what you get printed and what you go through to get decent prints. In fact, I don't think I'm speaking out of turn - but most of us will....
Good luck!

Re: Frustrated Customer
My first few weeks of building the printer, I sent my questions to that email address and it took a day or two to get an response.
I just recently found out (few days ago) that the two extruder weren't even, so I just back out adding it and try to play with the source code.
I posted my bad experience here as an additional information for the community.

Re: Frustrated Customer
If something like that was the only problem I had I would go out and get myself a piece of 0.004 shim stock and make a shim washer with a scizzors
to put under the short end and equilize the two. These printers that you build yourself are still in the pioneer stages and the fun and spirit of selecting them is that you become part of the pioneering expedition. In fact a piece of alum tin foil would probably do the job.
