Animal and Criter Prints
Animal and Criter Prints
Brian V shown this at our local maker meeting and I had to print one. From thingiverse, I chose the thin wall snake and single wall thickness. Flexible and interesting.

Re: Animal and Criter Prints
The Frog is from thngiverse too. I printed these tonight. As well as several over things. I was printing on a microns wire heated bed. The aluminum is 1/8" (3mm) thick. It did not get hot enough, but did make a difference. I was also test printing the ABS on the clear plastic sheet. I'm still trying to figure out how to get even surface finish on the frog as the print angle changes shallow as the layers step up.

Re: Animal and Criter Prints
Once I saw you print the snake, Brian, I had to print it. My prints aren't quite as nice as your prints (yet). Lot of fun to show that one. I have other "living hinge" ideas. We need to punch a hole through it and thread some dental floss through it and we'll have motion!

Re: Animal and Criter Prints
Lookin good. I like to use the frog for experimenting with layer heights.

Lol, not a fan case, just a small skull.
