Turn table spool holders

Every once and a while I get a spool that is wider than the spool holders and then I have to sit and watch the entire print because I Jerry rigged something together and it could fall over at any given moment and it often does... got a tip to try the non skid turntables and it works mint! No worries on width. I went with the 9 inch, note it can only hold 8 inch diameter. There is also a 12 inch version.
I placed mine on top of a mouse pad to ensure it didn't drag.

If you've got an old record player lying around, any vintage, working or not, that could be an excellent turntable as well.

Eric, you really need a turntable with a lip on the outside so that the spool can't slide off. The link that was given was a great choice and a good

The peg in the middle should work as well as a lip on the edge to keep a spool on the platter. I've nothing against the product linked. But if you already have the solution in the junk pile...

Seems like a pretty bulky and heavy solution, especially if you want to mount it to the top of the printer. Sometimes things cost you in currency other than cash.

That turntable would also be a good bearing for making your own spool holder.
