So trying to print a set of pieces for Airtripper's extruder and boof - My bowden popped off, probably from all the retracts hammering away on a jammed head that I didn't notice. So now the tube no longer locks. I have more already enroute from HK I ordered a week ago, but they could take awhile before they show up. Anyone have a short term solution? Any retrofits?

Can you cut off the "bad part" off the end of the teflon tube, or am I not understanding what happened? You can take a M4 nut and thread the tube onto the nut, and then find a way to print a mount for it that locks the nut in place. Do you think you can post a picture of what happened?

If you can put the tube back into the PTC, use a small amount of quick setting epoxy on the outside of the tube and insert it into the PTC until the new ones arrive.

Nylocke, I think the lock on the push fit is broken, I reversed the tube and both sides pop out the same way, they seem to lock fine on the hot end side of things. The M4 nut is a good idea, too, I think I can incorporate it into the new extruder I am making, but I'm not sure what I can do with the Steve's I am currently suffering with. I guess I will try gluing it as suggested by Eaglezsoar - good thing I have more tubing on route as well! When my hobbed bolt shows up I'll slap together a Wade's and hopefully that'll make life better.

Had the same problem. Clean out your nozzle, it probably vomited tiny shards of metal from the teeth that hold it in place.
