New smart controller adapter

Post by tc3jg »

Hey does anyone know where I can go to get a new smart controller adapter like the one that comes in our kits for the Rambo? I cant seem to get the joints soldered right so that i get voltage from all the pins. I think I may have damaged them when soldering the board.

They are sold at the Seemecnc.com website. Send them a message and see if they would solder one for you and at what cost.

How are you measuring "voltage from all the pins"? I'm not sure voltage on all the pins is the end goal. Just make you don't have any solder bridges across any pins. If you have doubts, post a close up picture of your adapter.

John over at seemeCNC got me taken care of not sure if it was the LCD or not I just know that my adapter looked topped off as far as the pins went. And after plugging it in and flipping the connecters a few times I finally got something other than the boxes of death. Love those guys I dont regret buying a kit one bit even though its taken me months to get printing!
