Hallo from Austria

Post by gschora »

Hi community!

So I got my RMax-package today and thought I should introduce myself since I'm hanging out in the forums for quite a while now (and reading everything about assembly, mods,...).

Shippment was pretty quick from America to Europe, only 5 days, but then it got stuck in customs for another 5 days.

I think when customs saw what was in the package, they got soooo excited that they tried to assemble it but failed horribly. And after that they decided to send it to me :-D

The postman, who delivered the package today, asked what was in the box... and when I told him that it was a 3d-printer the first thing he said was:
"A 3d-printer? Like the one guy who printed a GUN?" :-D

Some things about me:
I'm a farmer, but most of the time I'm building special-machines for use on my small farm (kinda bit of an inventor :-D

So hopefully I can start assembling my printer soon, but at first I think I have to clean up my "tinker-room", because I don't have room for putting the package in there :-D
half a year of working on different things and not having time to clean up :-D
half a year of working on different things and not having time to clean up :-D
Any volunteers for helping?

greets

Welcome, gschora! I had to clean up my "office" as well to make room for my printer which I just got a few weeks ago :-D I'm sure you'll get it cleaned up quickly so you can start the build! Once you get started, take lots of pictures and create your own thread in the "Build Zone"!

Thanks!

I unpacked everything today, because I was worried that the glass-plate didn't make it through the long journey.
But everything looks fine.

Will start painting the melamine-parts on the weekend...

...but the details will follow in another thread :-)
