Hey,
I've been playing around with printing two objects at once. Attached are a few photos of the "mess" between the two objects. Anyone else have this happen ? Any suggestions?
Thanks!!
Two object print ( the runs)
Re: Two object print ( the runs)
You need to get the printer to retract the plastic so it stops oozing from the nozzle.
Then set it to plastic to extrude where it was before the retract.
KISSlicer has some a parameter called destring that could help in this situation.

Thanks!
Could you elaborate a bit? I'm confused as to how to set the retract function in repetier/ slic3r.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Two object print ( the runs)
chbeckdb9, open the manual put out by Gene, it's available in the downloads section on the seeme site. Gene covers basic settings to get you started on the rostock. I followed his settings to a T including the retract settings and have only modified slightly from there since. I've printed up to 17 parts on the machine at a time with nearly zero "webs". His setting recommendations to get you started are pretty solid in my mind. Give it a look and see how it works out for you. His settings are for repetier/slicer by the way.
