Bringing my Orion to Kalamazoo Hamfest (10-20-13)

In case anyone is in the Kalamazoo area Sunday morning who is interested in seeing the Orion in action I will be with the Kalamazoo Maker Group at Kalamazoo's Hamfest http://www.kalamazoohamfest.com/.

Talked with quite a few people at the HAMfest. I forget how many people still think of 3D printing as magic. Many people asked about the Orion. I think they liked that it that SeeMeCNC is a midwest company.

I really hope you disinfected the Orion after letting it be that close to a Makerbot. Makerbot cooties can be fatal to better printers.

I even cringed a lil upon seeing the rep next to the ORION.... Sorry, but the reception for them around here isn't that great... H-bots.... Ugh....

Theres one at my school in the CAD Lab, I think I get clean when I get home though, I've got a Mendel, H-1.1, Ultimaker, and Rostock MAX in my room as well as a Rostock Mini in pieces. Also the Prusa Mendel in the basement.

Geesh, that's a lot of printers. If you keep it up you'll have as many as GeneB.

Sadly all but 2 eventually have to go back to their owners I'll be especially sad when the MAX goes....
