abs warping

Post by bobbyrz1 »

I finally got my printer up and running, the calibration cube cam out well except for the bridging. i just cant seem to get the abs to stop warping after its been built up a mm or 2. I've trie hairspray ( aquanet unscented) and abs juice i'm extruding at 220C and have the bed set to 125 which the thermistor says it is reaching but its only hitting about 109C. I've tried playing with the temperatures to no avail so i'm hoping some one can help, also I've tried printing with a 6mm brim and i'm using the skirt set up in the manual. i'm using slic3r in repieter host. the bed is level too attached are photos of the worst warping and of the bottom of the piece which seems to have good adhesion everywhere in the beginning but the separates after its built up ten or so layers. Thanks in advance.

if you're using hair spray you can take your bed temp way lower.. like 60c

one layer stays hot as the others cool. Cold causes things to shrink remember!!!! the cooling layers will shrink and cause this type of problem
