More hiccups... thanks for the help in advance.
Just fired up the Orion this morning and the Home All command doesn't work. All it does it make the three arms go down, but they never go back up to hit the end stops. I also manually issued "G28" code and the same thing happens, although I assume the LCD interface "Home All" is just doing the same thing.
Haven't altered anything. Was trying to get Repetier setup last night and sent a job, but halted it, but I can't see how that would mess it up. I can manually use the z-position to jog it up to the end stops and it stops appropriately and the end stops are working. Any ideas? Thanks!
EDIT: M119 returns "AM: x_max:L y_max:L z_max:L "
All I can think of doing at this point is restoring the stock firmware, but would still like to know what happened.
Thanks to John again I'm back up and running, support has been incredible! The eeprom basically updated itself with a 0 Z-axis height making the machine think it was at its max and hence only jog downwards. Always check your eeprom settings apparently... thanks.

Re: Home All just stopped working
brbubba,
Just sent an email, but i'll post here too for anyone else that may have the issue. If the arms are already at the endstops, it would act like what I think you're describing? If not, i shot you a number to call, we'll figure it out!

I updated my first post, eeprom z-axis height got set to 0 for some reason. Machine obviously wouldn't home because it probably thought it was at max or couldn't go higher.johnoly99 wrote:brbubba,

I'll have to acclimate myself to eeprom settings as I did everything in firmware on my older OrdBot and didn't want to deal with eeprom. But I also gave up on that 6 months ago after about 30 hours of time spent with little to no output. I eventually determined it was an engineering flaw in the roller system used and of course never got around to re-engineering the base.
