Packaging / unwrapping issue

Post by int2str »

Received my ORION this morning - yay! :)
While I was carefully removing the ton of plastic foil wrapped around it, a metal part fell down. I could quickly identify it as one of the end-stop limit switch "springs". It turns out that two out of three had fallen off. Looks like they were squeezed/pulled off by the tight plastic wrapping.

I got very lucky and was able to bend the springs back into shape and fiddle them back into place.
I'd urge SeeMeCNC to package that part a bit more carefully and would advice that anybody who's receiving their printer to be very, very careful when removing the foil around the limit switches.

You should send this message to [email protected] so they are aware of the problem.
