Hi guys, I'm finally wiring everything, but some problems came up.
Is this ok? Because the pictures from the guide are slightly different. I suppose It's because the Rambo I have is the 1.2
The box came with this 2 wires. The first one is smaller and the second is bigger and "shielded" (don't know the word in english).
Can someone tell me on what should I use them?
I'm guessing:
small = hot end resistors and thermistor
big = stepper motors
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Martin.

Re: Wiring doubts
Your thermistor wiring looks good. Mine is the same way and works great.
I also used the provided wire the same way you are proposing - thicker wire to extend the extruder stepper motor and the thinner wire for my PEEK fan and light ring. I ran a separate pair for my hot end.
If you're not using a light ring, you could consider using the thicker wire for hot end and PEEK fan, and the thinner for the stepper extension. That probably doesn't draw a lot of power.
Good luck finishing the build!

Re: Wiring doubts
Awesome, thanks Dave.
I don't have a light ring but will do in a future, so it would be good to leave all ready.
One more thing, Is the fan necessary for printing with ABS?
Martin.

Re: Wiring doubts
Save yourself the trouble and wire your PEEK fan now. It doesn't hurt with ABS, but you will end up printing with PLA at some point, and then it's necessary.
