We are alive Finally

Post by wildideas1 »

ok well after weird issue on mach3 my son and I have gotten 5 prints of in the 1st 3hours last night, but as usual murphy got his hands into our fun and extruder stopped output, turns out that the line is 2.1-2.23 in diameter after we got over 3' into roll of supposed 1.75dia so we are cleaning it all out let me tell you though that once the 2mm Teflon tube gets hot enough it will allow a bigger dia rod to go through but once it cools holy---- it doesn't come out very easy. once cleaned out we are switching to Lime green that has been measrued at 1.7 1.73 in dia so should be off and running again later today. here are pics of what we did last night.

The prints look good. You should let us know where you bought that filament so we don't buy from them.
That is terrible quality control and I would be upset to buy a roll of that stuff!
Happy printing and I'm glad you got your problems worked out.

What i do to get cold filament out is to cut a piece of unmelted filament and use that to push out the cold filament
