Help - My SeeMeCNC H-1 4ex.

Post by charles »

Hello,
I am new to this area of CNC (seeMeCNC I bought the kit) and I need help. I do not know what changes have to do on board 4-axis machine work. What should the temperature setting on the thermostat to melt the ABS plastic?
thank you

charles, John here from SeeMe. ABS temps that work good for us are 200C (425F) measured with a thermocouple not a non-contact IR gun, and we measure them directly where the brass nozzle meets the hot-end resistor block. As for the 4 axis board, some (many actually?) don't need to make the jumper mod and are working just fine. I would recommend making the jumper mod though. That is the only thing we've needed to do on any of the 4 axis boards.

Thank you John. Results of the setting temperature (198 ° C to 208 ° C, video VA). Is it good? I will control the motor (4EX) as suggested with Mach3.

Hello,
I need to start setting up the printer by Mach3. I would get a basic configuration developed by members of SeeMecnc and guidelines for the initial 4-axis card (no changes). I'll start a forum thread for Mach3.
thank you

Charles, You might wanna jumper the optos though, I made a difference for me. I've heard they are solid once you jumper them. Other then that you don't eed to do any other mods.
