Hi all,
I'm Chris, I got my H1 a week or two ago and have been loving the build up so far! I am a designer/engineer that does alot of freelance work along side my design day job. I have built up a 3d scanner using David laser scanner and thought that a 3d printer would complete my toolkit! I hope that the build of the H1 will give me insight into creating my own CNC mill - more specifically with the electronics and software side.
I have to give a mention to the SeeMeCNC guys - this is by far the cheapest (even to the UK) and most resolved kit I have seen and despite a minor issue with a short shipment of bearings for the extruder (which was resolved rapidly and compensated with a bearing upgrade kit - top customer service!!) the build has been really simple. Good job guys.

Thanks badger! Were still just a little shop wiyh a couple people doing more than they can to get kits shipped, so we apologize for the bearing mishap. Glad we could take care of you. Cant wait to see your machine running and see what you can print!

Welcome Badger! You think you're loving the build, just wait till you start printing with it!
Home made Cnc, 2 CarveWright wood carving machines, Laser cutter/engraver, large format vinyl cutter, large format printer, and now a 3D Printer! Oh, and a shop full of equipment to take large expensive pieces of wood and turn them into scrap and sawdust.

I know!! I have been watching some vids of the H1 in action so that I can understand the issues I might encounter - but all I am doing is getting over excited and imagining what I can build with it!
Its tough at the moment as I have some potential work for my 3d scanner so I am putting loads of time into that - but all I want to do is complete the build
