After a day of at least 1 or 2 hours printing with ABS, do you feel any physical symtoms?

Curious about this

Post by AndThenSome09 »

I have been doing a lot more printing with my Max for the past couple weeks, usually at least like 4 or 5 hours a day and ive noticed that at night when I lay down for bed I get this tickle in my throat causing me to keep coughing until I fall asleep. So I was curious if it may be due to my excessive printing with ABS, and if so should I be cracking the windows in my workshop area while I'm printing? I wanted to know if anyone else experiences any kind of physical side effects from printing with ABS.

That there are fumes/particles is known. Whether they are a health hazard is not so known. People vary in their sensitivity to all sorts of things...I know someone who developed an allergy to epoxy resin, for instance, and gave up working with it. Personally, perfumes some women wear get me sneezy/runny in a fairly short time.

Ventilation/filtration may be advised if that is your cause.
