Scratched Onyx

Hi there,

I just got to the Onyx portion of the install and much to my dismay when I unpacked my Onyx it had a scratch in it. I've included and image, it's pretty dark but the scratch is obvious.

The scratch appears to be superficial, however, I'm not really sure whether it's going to be a problem or not. My largest fear is destroying my Rambo once it gets powered up.

Has anyone had a scratch like this in their bed? Is there any way that I can test this for problems before putting it into my machine?

I've sent a similar message to support, but thought I'd see if anyone had anything to offer.

I have seen no reports of a scratched Plate come through the Forum.
You did the right thing by reporting it to support. If you haven't done so I would also send them that picture.
As you say, the scratch is superficial so I doubt that it will effect anything.
