Hello and help from Florida

Post by kdoney »

Hello. I am a new 3d printer builder. I am building for a friend since I have been building cnc machines for about 20 years. I need help on a

EZStruder Cold End Kit

It says it can be used for 3 or 1.75mm filament but the hole is much too small for 3mm. Do I have to drill it out?

Welcome to the Forum!
I answered your question in your other post but I will add to it here.
The EZStruder supports 3mm hotends as a direct drive to a groove mount hotend but does not support 3mm bowden connections.
There is a video at http://reprap.org/wiki/EZStruder.
