What is the best software to setup the print and generate the gcode file?
I got the orion delta machine, printed the files in the disk, but want to print my own file. Is there a tutorial/guide on how to do that?
Is Reptier the only choice of software I have? Does it Feels a little crude compared to the MakerBot software? or it is just me?
tutorial to software?
Re: tutorial to software?
I switched to Cura, it for me seems to be "more consistent" than Slic3r/Repetier, mainly speed wise.
I get estimates from slic3r that I have to double or triple the time to get an accurate time, meanwhile Cura's time estimate seems much more accurate.
The only thing I'm disappointed with is there seems to be no lift z...
But it puts the important values in front, the things you actually change, and it leaves the more tinkery stuff in an easy to access menu.
Just about everything about it is better than Slic3r/Repetier, and you can adjust for different diameter filaments, unlike makerware from what I've seen....
Another great thing is if you run from USB, it doesn't bring out a big expensive visualization, so it doesn't slow down serial coms. And as of recent releases, you can actually connect printers using different electronics other than Ultimaker's stock electronics.

I am reading the SeeMeCNC instruction, it is telling me install the driver to talk to USB? Is that a must, can I generate the file and copy to the flash-drive? I don't want to put a computer next to it if I don't have to.
I guess I need a walk thorough because I have never done this before.

I would still use a computer and connect USB. You don't have to, a print can run solely from an SD card, but you'll like the convenience and added features that you get when you run Repetier connected to the machine.

Re: tutorial to software?
Have you downloaded the Orion manual yet? It covers installing the RAMBo USB driver.
