I can't use the config tool, too much info to fill in that I don't know and the Master didn't work.
I am in the same position as you. There are users that have done the conversions but they are the super hitters, a category that I am not in. I am waiting for SeeMeCNC
to release 0.91 for the Rostock Max and the Orion and I am sure they are working on it but we both have to be patient while they are doing their work.

I am a benchwarmer too but I managed to get it installed. If you are thorough I think it can be done.

I started with the Orion fork from int2str. I then took my current max config.h file and compared line by line overriding the Orion value with my max values when they differed. Of course you want to note your EEPROM values. Tedious yes, but it seemed to work well for me.

Glad you got yours working but int2str did not create a fork for the Max.
