"bot" whose name cannot be spoken!

Post by Batteau62 »

I'm in Boston, so I visited the new Makerbot store for the heck of it. It was actually interesting. The printers are nice(although overpriced IMO) What was more fascinating for me was listening to peoples reactions and questions. I think there is still quite a bit of education to be done before "consumers" understand what we're doing. Interestingly the question I eavesdropped the most-"How long did this take to print?"
-"Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool."
-"As soon as you make something fool proof...along comes an idiot."
-"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." ~Thomas Edison

I can't believe it, I just cannot believe it, one of my favorite posters walked into a closed source small print area poor support record and actually looked at printers that start around
2100 and go up from there. Forgive me, I can't write anymore, I need to go off into a corner and cry.

Okay, my cry is over and I feel better now. I hope you shook the dust off your shoes when you walked out. I don't consider them enemies because that
raises their status. To me they do not exist and are only a segment of a dirty neuron in my brain.

He needs to burn his clothing too. It's the only way to get the stench out.
