NO idea what is going on... SKewed then un skewed

Post by tom10122 »

I know alot of people are gonna tell me to get the bearings but this doesn't seem related to that. I printed a calibration cube(pics coming soon) and it skews to the right but then halfway through it starts correcting itself . I'm clueless as to what's going on :?: :?: :?: :?:

It looks like it skipped steps at two points, the fact it corrected itself and the skipped steps happen to line up with the pillars is a little odd.
Usually skipped steps are a mechanical issue, but they can be caused by electrical issues.
I'd look very carefully at which ever axis is showing the Skew.

the belt hits the extruder chassis sometimes, could that be it? it wasn't speed, this was printed at 200mm per minute.i am going to try to print out a better idler for the x-axis soon. also just redid the wiring but to no avail

edit: just noticed my bed is a little warped because the air conditioning wasn't running, there is one spot thats fine, im gonna print as is for now but I'll cut some plexiglass tommorrow. didn't get to it today beacuase i had to do driving lessions (permit on friday :)
