Hot stepper's

Post by timothysvec »

Greetings, OK, I just fired up the printer. I did the config that was posted on this board for the 4 axis board. My steppers are a lot hotter than the one's that I have for my taig mill (nema 23's) How hot is to hot? I can still touch them but they are hot to touch. and I'm a cook who touches hot metal allot.

I think my x,y is 50 and my z is 100 But everyone's will be different. You need to test the settings you have and adjust accordingly, I'm also using EMC2 which differs from Mach3 so yours will be different
