Good quality vs bad quality PLA?

Post by 0rionN00b »

So I have been blowing thru so much filament (2-4 rolls/week), I've been getting a bit slack on my quality checks.

and it caught up with me..

A couple of "justpla" brand (off Amazon) -- talk about some junky stuff! It "goo's" up on the bed, doeesn't stick for anything, and gets all blobby..

Another thing I noticed (comparing it to other PLA hich prints perfectly) - it is highly brittle!

Strangely enough, I got a roll of blue PLA from "Justpla" as well, and it seems to be far better quality..

Any other recommendations for a good quality??

The SeemeCNC PLA seems to be really good.

I'm a big SeeMeCNC fan, but...
The 4 or so rolls of PLA I got from them I would class as CRAP.
The material,is fine, but the amount of variation in diameter is horrendous compared to brands like ultimachine.
Now I haven't bought from them in a while, so they may have changed supplier, but for the cost I wouldn't recommend it.
