Hello! I now have a new problem, my filament "wheel" (the white wheel on the filament guide) does not push the filament anymore. The wheel just spins and does not push the filament anymore. Can you please tell me how to fix this issue.
Thanks!
Filament not extruding
Re: Filament not extruding
If you're talking about your Ezstruder drive wheel? You've probably ground a crescent shape into the filament and it's not grabbing anymore. Heat the hotend and pull the filament out to check. If it has, cut that part off and re-insert the filament. Clean the knurls in the drive wheel, (thoroughly) Check to be sure your hot end is heating to temp. Can you push filament through it with hand pressure? Could also be a jam in the hot end. Are you printing PLA or ABS?

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I am talking about the Ezstruder drive wheel. I have already pulled the filament out of the wheel and reinserted new filament into the printer. I can push the filament with hand pressure through the hotend, it's just when the printer tries to do this but it's self that it does not work. The wheel makes a clicking noise and nothing comes out.

Check the setscrew on the drive pulley, the clicking may be when the setscrew hits the flat spot on the shaft.FLuKe wrote:Batteau62 wrote:If you're talking about your Ezstruder drive wheel? I will check this out when I get home from work. Also I forgot to mention I am using PLA at this time.
