ok how does one stop the material from coming out the resistors area
all of a sudden im oozing out a wad of abs size of gum after 2 hours of printing
took completed apart cleaned made sure all was tight and still oozes
if i need to make extruder slower how do i change in motor tuning and what value do i change to slow down.

Do you have the old extruder design or the new one?
I had the same problem with the old extruder design, I had to take apart the resistor housing and completely clean it out. I reassembled with a tiny bit of RTV to form a gasket between the two parts of the housing and tightened the assembly screws down as best as I could.
Eventually I upgraded to the new extruder design which should not have this problem, the resistor housing is a solid piece of metal with no gaps or openings to the peek/nozzle area.
