how far did you go to calibrate the hot end ?

like the title say how far do you go for the calibration of the hot end for the temps ? i must have do the test like maybe 6-7 time always with the new number obtained at the end the hot end during the test was varying only of +/- 1.5 degree obtained from the last temps show on the test

I was judicious about the PID autotune process, because it's important for the heater control to match the heater itself.

I didn't put much effort in the thermistor calibration with a thermocouple this last time though. Every filament is slightly different, different colors of the same filament behave differently, and each printed part requires a little bit different finesse, so it's trial and error whether you've got 100% accuracy or not.

If I was switching between multiple hot-ends or printing with dual heads or something like that it would matter a bit more, but for normal everyday printing I decided that it really didn't matter that much.
