x axis direction

I had to change the stop switch on the x axis and when I fired the machine up again the x axis will only go down when I give it the go home command. I have changed the x axis invert direction entry from false(the original setup) to true and it still goes down with either option. I had to change the switch because I tried to bend the lever on the switch as I had run out of adjustment doing the x axis calibration in my initial setup.

is it going fast or slow?

when the xaxis stop switch is triggered it goes down until the switch is release + distance set in the firmware. if your switch is stuck open it will go down forever because it thinks the button is still pressed.

Pull off your switch and test that you have it wired correctly for NC operation.
